Car rental in Balikpapan serves the main gateway to East Kalimantan — the city where oil and gas companies, mining operations, and project contractors meet, and now also a transit point towards the new capital development area.
INDORENT supplies long-term operational fleets to companies and institutions in Balikpapan and the surrounding area, with maintenance, licensing, and emergency support included.
Vehicles for heavy-duty operations
A great deal of work in East Kalimantan happens far from the city: mine sites, oil and gas facilities, or project areas where the roads are not always sealed. Vehicles used there carry a different load from an office car in a large city.
What decides the outcome is not only the unit type but how quickly a replacement becomes available. Our contract covers both: unit selection matched to the terrain, and a stand-in vehicle whenever the primary unit is in the workshop.
What we handle most often in Balikpapan:
- Field operational vehicles for mine sites, oil and gas facilities, and project areas.
- Employee and guest transfers from the airport to offices, hotels, or onward transit points.
- Office company vehicles in central Balikpapan.
- Event and corporate meeting transport, which in this city often involves participants from out of the region.
The points we serve most
- Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport. East Kalimantan’s main gateway, busy with energy-sector business travel.
- Industrial areas and processing facilities. A concentration of oil and gas operations with daily support-vehicle needs.
- City-centre office districts. Corporate representative offices and project contractors.
- Project and mine sites outside the city. Business-travel destinations calling for vehicles suited to rough terrain.
- Hotels and meeting venues. Locations for corporate conferences and training.

- Operational vehicles — fleets used intensively every working day.
- Electric cars — for companies pursuing emission-reduction targets.
